Mike Wolfe Western States 100 Mile

Previous Ridge Runner, Mike Wolfe, had a blazingly fast finish at the Western States 100 Mile in Auburn California. He finished 2nd, just 4 minutes behind Kilian Jornet.

Mike Foote, last year’s Ridge Run Winner, was also having a good day at Western States. He was in 24th place still on the course at the time of this blog post.

Nikki Kimbal, last year’s female Ridge Run Winner was was in 4th place among the women at Western States with 10 miles to go.

Some Ridge Run History and Background…

Mike Wolfe finished second to Scott Creel in the Bridger Ridge Run 3 years in a row: 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2006 he became the second fastest person to run the Bridger Ridge Run. He was only about a minute behind Scott with a time of 3:08:42

As of June 25, there are still a few slots open to hear Mike’s presentation at REI on July 6.
